I would like to congratulate Aaron and Carolyn, married at Becker Farms and Vizcarra Vineyards in Gasport, NY over the weekend. I started my busy day with the Girls getting ready at the old Becker Farmhouse, an 1830’s brick country house situated right across the street from the widely photographed Becker Barn. As the sun shone down and the temps. began to rise, we made our way outside for the First Look. This intimate moment between the Bride and Groom is one of my favorite times during a wedding; it’s unscripted and can afford some great spontaneous, emotional moments. With time running out before they said “I do”, I quickly took advantage of the Becker Barn for the iconic group photo. The vineyard was a picturesque backdrop for the ceremony, and I was lucky enough to get some cloud cover just as I began the family formals. With some time before the reception, I asked Aaron and Carolyn to walk with me a bit for some one-on-one creatives. That’s when I learned that Aaron had gone ahead and run the Buffalo Marathon that morning (so walking around the farm wasn’t that appealing), but he soldiered on, and never complained. Dinner and dances were up next as the sun began to set and the air started to cool. I finished up my day stealing the happy Couple for a few more photos and saying my goodbyes. Thank you again to Aaron and Carolyn for letting me be a part of their special day. I wish you both the best for the future!
