Congratulations to Daniel and Danielle who were married this past weekend at The Lodge at Turning Stone Resort Casino, Verona, NY.  Our glorious day began with Leah and I arriving to find the girls getting ready in a beautiful room with a view overlooking the ceremony site.  With lots of natural light, this space was perfect for capturing some amazing portraits of Danielle.  I then dashed off to spend some time with Daniel and the guys before returning to get Danielle in her dress and ready for the First Look.  We chose to stage this special moment in the flower garden next to the ceremony site.  This was one of Danielle’s favorite spots of the whole venue.    This afforded them some one-on-one time, but also allowed their friends and family a bit of a glimpse, without being intrusive.  We moved on to bridal party photos and family formals, and then it was time for the Ceremony to begin.  This was a beautiful Ceremony, but I have to say I felt for the Girls, who were in full sun the whole time, while the Guys got lucky with the shade.  After, we walked the short distance to the event center for the reception.  I felt like I was trying to navigate an airport… the Resort is HUGE!  I heard from a little birdy that some of Daniel’s family had a lucky night at the Casino the night prior – so I hope they shared the wealth!  The rest of our evening unfolded smoothly; Cocktail hour, introductions and dinner followed by a First Dance with flameless fireworks.  I stole the happy Couple for a Blue Hour shot against an amazing full moon.  Aside from the mosquitoes, a picturesque day turned into a perfect evening.  Thank you again to Daniel and Danielle for inviting us to be a part of your special day.  We wish you both all the best for the future!
