Congratulations to Jeremy and Nicole who were married this past weekend at Toro Run Winery, Ovid, NY. It was a beautiful fall day (rain showers had just passed) as I began with the getting readies. The guys were first up at a local hotel. A cool little touch were the custom leather beer steins that Jeremy had bought for each groomsman. Then, I drove the short distance to the Winery next to Cayuga Lake to spend some time with the girls. One of the first things Nicole said when I arrived was that this was her day and she could do whatever she wanted; so, she promptly began jumping as high as she could on the bed. We chose a quiet location next to the vines for their First Look.   This moment was especially important for the timeline of the day because Jeremy and Nicole wanted to spend as much time as possible with family and friends during the reception. I always try to stress the importance of a First Look for any Couple (especially during the fall months when the sun is setting early) wanting to spend more time socializing and less away taking pictures. After a lovely ceremony, with the amazing overlook, it was time for dinner and dancing. The sunset was gorgeous and very fitting for the occasion! After dark, I stole the happy Couple away for a few more night shots. Toro Run has a pretty cool statue of running bulls, so we all thought it would be pretty funny to stage our own little “Running of the Bulls.” All too soon my time was up and I said my goodbyes. Thank you again to Jeremy and Nicole for allowing me to be a part of this wonderful day. I wish you both all the best for the future!
