Owen & Chantelle | The Foundry Wedding Photos
Congratulations to Owen and Chantelle who married this past weekend at Baker Memorial Methodist Church with a reception following at The Foundry Suites, Buffalo, NY. I first had the pleasure of working with the happy Couple last year for their engagement session. They were a bit new to being photographed, as many Couples are. But they are a delight, and I couldn’t wait to see how their day unfolded.
Leah and I began this beautiful, warm, summer day at The Foundry for the girls’ getting ready. For the most part, I love the look at this location for getting the Bride into her dress. The large, industrial windows and clean lines make for nice backdrops and gives me the chance to play around with the natural light.
After a short while, Leah took off to meet Owen and the guys for their getting ready, before heading to the church for the ceremony. Baker Memorial is a lovely church in the heart of East Aurora, NY. This was my first time there, and I saw so many great opportunities should I ever get the chance to return. The only downside is the heat! This was a particularly HOT July day, and with no air conditioning, I expected someone to faint. Chantelle came prepared with a little personal fan, but even that wasn’t able to keep up.
Once the ceremony was complete, I took the whole bridal party over to nearby Knox Farms for some creatives. Knox is such a wonderful location, with so many areas to explore. I wish I’d had more time, but my hour was up, and it was a long drive back to town for the reception. Thankfully, though, Owen and Chantelle also wanted some industrial looks, and they graciously gave me time around The Foundry for more pics during cocktail hour.
As day turned into night, speeches were made, dinner was served and dancing commenced. We stayed until their sparkler send off, and said our goodbyes. Thank you again to Owen and Chantelle for inviting us to be a part of this journey. We wish you all the best for the future!
