Ceremony and Reception | Salvatore’s Italian Gardens Buffalo NY

It turned into a magical night as I celebrated the wedding between Teresa and David at Salvatore’s Italian Gardens! Salvatore’s is a family owned restaurant, hotel and banquet facility that was opened in 1967. It has become one of Western New York’s premier dining and banquet venues, loved by both old and young for its over-the-top decor. I began in the hotel with Teresa’s getting ready. She was excited, but calm and spent some lovely moments with her children before the ceremony. Teresa and David shared their day with each other’s children and both were glowing as she walked down the aisle in anticipation of their future life together. The entire ceremony and reception were inside. I loved the opportunity to photograph at Salvatore’s. The decor and ambiance really invite creativity and gave me the chance to experiment from different angles. Lately, I’ve been trying to draw more on my European background in respect to creative posing, and this was an ideal set to try and give that “old world” vintage feel. As we moved into the reception I was able to talk with the Couple’s family and friends, and learned that David loves to hunt. Apparently, Teresa went out once with him, but all the children agree that if it were to ever happen again they would know something was wrong! As everyone danced into the night I said my goodbyes and closed another day.
