Congratulations to Alex and Ashley who were married this past weekend at Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum with a reception following at The Pearl Street Brewery, Buffalo, NY. I began my day with the Guys. Right from the moment I walked through the front door, I knew this was going to be a fun day. These guys could make a joke out of anything, and they were all geared up for what was to come. After an impromptu game of badminton, I made my way over to The Lofts on Pearl for the Girls’ getting ready. It was my first time at The Lofts, and I have to say I loved the large windows and ample natural light. For the First Look, I chose an ally not far away (which turned into a bit of a wind tunnel). After a few minutes alone with the happy Couple, we all made our way over to Cobblestone and then the Japanese Gardens for bridal party creatives. Time flew by, and before I knew it, we needed to be on the move again to make it to the ceremony. At Karpeles, spirits were still running high as Drew, friend and officiant, kept things short, simple and very funny. After family formals, it was time for dinner and the reception back at Pearl. I knew from the moment I met the bridal party that this was a dancing group, and they didn’t disappoint at the reception. We were on the fourth floor at Pearl and there were several times that I stepped off the dance floor because it was shaking so much I was sure we were all destined to meet the reception taking place on the third floor! Think of bouncing up and down on a trampoline and you’ll get what I’m talking about. Of course, I stole Alex and Ashley away from the merriment several times throughout the night. Thank you both again for being so great to work with. I wish you all the best whatever the future may hold!
