Christy & Travis | Pearl Street Brewery Wedding Photography

Congratulations to Christy and Travis who married this weekend at Saint Mary of the Lake Church, with a reception following at Pearl Street Grill & Brewery, Buffalo, NY.  Leah and I began our day with this lovely Couple in the early afternoon, covering their getting readies.  We arrived just as the forecasted thunderstorms rolled in.  This didn’t affect our plans too much, however, and the rain was expected to end by late afternoon.

Next, we got Christy into her dress and made our way to Church.  After the ceremony and family formals, it was time to take the bridal party on a small tour of Buffalo.  First, we stopped by the Special Marine Corps Units of WWII memorial at Veterans Park.  Travis is a Marine and wanted to include this tribute on his special day.  From there, we all went to Lafayette Square.  This particular area affords a great full-length view of City Hall.  We only spent a few minutes here before making our way down the street to the steps of City Hall itself.

After what seemed like too little time, I reluctantly stopped because we needed to get moving on to the reception.  As we arrived at Pearl, I took Christy and Travis down the alley to one of my favorite spots.  This last bit of quiet time for every Couple is so important, since the rest of their night will be focused on their guests.  Up on the fourth floor, the party was in full swing when we stepped off the elevator.  As the night wore on, I stole Christy and Travis several more times for photos.  I could tell they were getting photo’d out, and I’m very grateful for every opportunity given.  Thank you again to Christy and Travis for inviting us to spend this special day with you.  We wish you all the best for the future!
