Congratulations to Danni and Mike who were married this past weekend at the Pearl @ The Webb, Buffalo NY.  This wonderful Couple and I worked together last year for the first time during their engagement session.  They were nervous, at first, about getting in front of the camera, but as I tell all my Couples, the engagement session is the best way to practice and get to know your photographer, making the wedding day seem less daunting.  We’d planned a full day together, with both Leah and I dividing our time with the guys and girls.  Danni and Mike were calm, cool and collected; not showing any nervousness whatsoever.  All our activities were going to take place downtown.  I found a quiet courtyard next to The Webb for the First Look, which was almost interrupted by a random jogger deciding to sit down just as Danni came around the corner to meet Mike.  It all worked out fine in the end, though.  St. Josephs Cathedral happens to be right across the street from the backend of The Webb, and I thought it’d make the perfect spot for Bridal Party photos and some creatives.  No one had to walk too far and we didn’t waste any time driving to various locations – win win for everyone!  The ceremony itself took place in the front room at The Webb.  It was a pretty tight squeeze for all the guests, but I loved the ambiance, the old brick and factory feel the place has to offer.  A relaxed cocktail hour came and went, and dinner was served.  I took Danni and Mike outside for some sunset photos.  We ended up in a parking lot – don’t ask me why this always turns out to be the best place for sunset photos, but it works!  A night full of dancing and eating cupcakes and doughnuts ensued, and our day came to an end.  Thank you again to Danni and Mike for inviting us to be a part of your special day.  We wish you both all the best for the future!
