Congratulations to newlyweds Matthew and Haleigh who celebrated their love with an intimate outdoor wedding near Buffalo NY this past weekend. I began my day at the Roycroft Inn for their getting readies, before heading out to Chestnut Ridge Park for a short hike to the Eternal FlameĀ Falls. We were all a little worried about the condition of the path, since Buffalo seems to be having a lot of wild summer weather, but with only a few close calls, everyone made it safely (although a bit muddy). The ceremony was a beautiful, intimate affair, with only family and close friends in attendance. The highlight of the day was definitely their son, Ollie, who had a blast walking in the water, tossing rocks and even meeting other hikers passing by. We hiked most of the way back till we found a dry area, at which point we had the first dances and some creative time. Back at Roycroft, I stayed for a bit to cut the cake and document some family fun before saying my goodbyes. Thank you again to Matt and Haleigh for inviting me to be a part of their special day. I wish you both all the best for the future!
