Congratulations to Sean and Ashley who were married this past weekend at St. Joseph Cathedral, Buffalo NY with a reception following at Kotecki’s Grandview Grove, West Seneca NY.  Leah and I first worked with the happy Couple last year for their Engagement Session at Knox Farms.  It was a real pleasure having that time to get to know them, how they interact with each other and their history as a Couple.  On their Wedding Day, this prior knowledge and comfort helped us to seamlessly blend in with their family and friends to capture real moments and authentic emotions.  After a brief getting ready, we all made our way to St. Joseph’s for the ceremony.  This majestic church afforded not only a grand backdrop for the ceremony, but an intimate garden for family formals and some creatives.  A true gem in the heart of downtown Buffalo.  The plan was to spend a good hour over at nearby Niagara Square and City Hall, however, an unexpected downpour soon had us ducking for cover.  We decided to move on to Kotecki’s and see what the rest of the day would bring.  Luckily, the dinner hour saw clear skies, and I was able to take Sean and Ashley to nearby Cazenovia Creek, at the rear of the venue.  Ashley was a real trooper, wading thru wet grass and mud in her beautiful gown!  It turns out that the rain actually gave us a nice waterfall in an otherwise dry creek (due to the lack of rain this summer).  We moved on to the dances, but all too soon it was time to say our goodbyes.  Thank you again to Sean and Ashley for inviting us to be a part of your special day.  We wish you both all the best for the future!
