Justin & Kim Wedding Samuel’s Grande Manor

Wedding Ceremony: First Presbyterian Church

Wedding Reception: Samuel’s Grande Manor

Wedding Ceremony: First Presbyterian Church

My day with Kim and Justin began in Batavia, NY with a mix of sun and rain. The ceremony, at the First Presbyterian Church, was small and personal. I especially liked the abundance of glass windows, which allowed a great deal of natural light to illuminate the interior on what was otherwise a kind of gloomy day outside. The sendoff of bubbles was moved inside, and everyone were great sports about staying enthusiastic. It didn’t seem to make much difference to the flower girls…..who can resist chasing bubbles?

Samuel’s Grande Manor

From there, we took a wild ride in their hummer limo over to Samuel’s Grande Manor in Williamsville, NY. By this time, the sun had come out, and the conditions were perfect for what I do best….Outdoor Shots! Kim and Justin were good sports and allowed me to monopolize most of their time with creatives. Samuel’s has magnificent fountains throughout their facility, a gazebo and flower gardens galor. It wasn’t difficult to find great light and interesting backgrounds.

As the night progressed the guests hit second gear and the real fun began! Dancing and singing provided some nice candids, but I have to top my hat to the two youngest flower girls for stealing the show. They truly made my night, with their flowing dresses, endless energy and willingness to let loose and have fun! I would also like to mention the superb dinner, probably one of the best I’ve been served as a photographer during a wedding – cheers to Samuel’s Grande Manor. As my day was ending, I pulled the couple outside again for one more shot. The main fountain was lit up and I could not resist the chance for one final grand shot. With that image as icing on the proverbial cake, my day was done. Thank you to Kim and Justin for allowing me to be a part of your special day!
