Amanda and Daniel | Great Gatsby Wedding Theme

Congratulations to newlyweds Amanda and Daniel who celebrated their Great Gatsby themed wedding at Samuel’s Grande Manor, Williamsville, NY. These two love-birds met several years ago through a multi-family camping trip their parents had planned, and the rest is history. Daniel planned the proposal for Amanda’s birthday, and in true movie fashion, proposed on top of the Empire State Building. She’d caught sight of the ring ahead of time, and the wait was agonizing as she anticipated the big moment.

I had the good fortune of being able to spend the whole day with these two wonderful people and their family and friends. I can’t stress enough how much a full day of coverage (and a First Look) are so beneficial for every Couple. We started our crazy adventure downtown at Canalside. It was great being there on a Friday afternoon with no other people around. Amanda and Daniel are big Sabres Hockey fans, so we made good use of the old Aud. seats by the ice rinks, and went over to the French Connection Statue. Cobblestone was right there, so it only made sense to take advantage of it. I really love the dark, worn brick of the old buildings juxtaposed against the clean lines of the bridal party. Our time grew short for creatives, so we rushed over to Samuel’s. I was able to grab a few more 20’s-style poses before reluctantly letting the Bride and Groom rest before the ceremony.

As day turned into night, my time with Amanda and Daniel came to an end. I’d like to say thank you again to these two wonderful people and wish you both all the best for the future!
