Congratulations to Mike and Sarah who were married this past weekend at The Foundry, Buffalo, NY. I began this beautiful fall day with both bride and groom getting ready at The Foundry. Everyone, including the bridal party, was super laid back and a blast to work with. Definitely a plus in my book towards the end of a long season! I bounced back and forth as everyone made preparations/watched the Bills football game; then, it was off to the History Museum for the First Look. The cloudy skies were in my favor for this intimate moment between Bride and Groom. When I called the rest of the bridal party over to share in the fun, minute by minute updates on the Bills game were called out as they happened (one of the perks/perils of having a wedding on a Sunday during football season). We headed back to The Foundry for some rest and final preparations before the Ceremony. Friend and Event Stylist Sara Spoth of Beck & Forth Co. was amazing! I absolutely loved her simple, elegant touches and classic eye. There was just enough of everything and Mike and Sarah’s Game of Thrones / Star Wars motif really meshed well with the décor. As the Ceremony began, and Mike walked down the aisle, we were all treated to the playing of Darth Vader’s Entrance by a string quartet. Needless to say, all the guests started laughing and it seemed very appropriate when paired with the officiant’s readings from “Star Wars, The Jedi Path.” As I said before, the whole day was very chill, and the rest of my evening was no different. As day turned to night, I said my goodbyes. Thank you again to Mike and Sarah for a wonderful day and I wish you both all the best for the future!
