Congratulations to Eric and Brielle who kicked off our 2021 season with their marriage at Maison Albion! Our entire day was focused in and around this new Western New York event venue, brought back to life and reimagined. Snow was falling as we arrived and began Bride and Groom prep. Final touches were going up all around us, and Leah and I bounced back and forth from room to room as all the details came together.
We had planned for a First Look, and with the temps in the 40s, we made the decision to stay inside. As always, this is such a great moment for Couples. This is not just their first time seeing each other all done up, but it’s their chance to say something intimate…. a moment just for the two of them before all the craziness begins.
After, we made our way onto the expansive porch for some creatives with the whole Bridal Party. Everyone was so amped and excited that the day was finally here and happening, given how bleak 2020 had been with the Pandemic, that we barely felt the cold. Our time was short, though, and we needed to rush inside to get ready for the arriving guests and ceremony.
It was certainly nice sticking to one location for everything. I felt like everyone was more at ease and less stressed than if we’d been moving around all day. We had limited opportunities to explore the estate grounds given the time of year, but can imagine how beautiful the gardens will be during spring and summer.
After a lovely ceremony, we moved right into cocktail hour and dinner, before opening the dance floor, and getting the party started. Before too long, it was time to say our goodbyes. Thank you again to Eric and Brielle for inviting us on this journey with you. We wish you both all the best for the future!
