Congratulations to Matt and Lizz who were married this past weekend at Casa Larga Vineyards and Winery, Fairport, NY.  The heat of the past couple weeks had abated slightly as Leah and I began our day with the getting readies and portraits, before heading over to Garnsey Arboretum for a First Look and bridal party photos.  It was an ideal setting, with many large trees to use as shade and fairly private, so almost no one else was around to interrupt our special moment.  After, I called the bridal party over, and that’s when the wind picked up and I had to fight flyaway hair and patchy light filtering through the ever-moving trees.  The air conditioning at Casa Larga was a welcome relief.  We did venture into the vineyard for one group photo with the bridal party, but I urged Matt and Lizz to wait till the “Golden Hour” before doing too many more creatives.  There wasn’t a cloud in the sky and I knew we were going to have an amazing sunset, so I didn’t want to tire them out too early.  After a lovely ceremony and quiet cocktail hour, it was time for dinner and dancing!  As soon as I caught sight of the kind of light I was looking for, I whisked Matt and Lizz outside.  I wasn’t disappointed and I’m very happy with the results.  I was even able to steal them away again not long after for a “Blue Hour” silhouette at the front of the venue.  All in all, a very pleasant day.  Thank you again to Matt and Lizz for inviting us to be a part of your special day.  We had a wonderful time, loved meeting all your family and we wish you both all the best for the future!
